About Me

I am Tuesdai Leigh and welcome to my MySpace site.
I was born and brought up in North London and I have sung for as long as I can remember. I can’t say that any single artist has been a major influence on me but I love everything from Etta James and Aretha Franklin to Tracy Chapman and Nirvana. As a kid, we always had music playing at home and I grew up to the sounds of Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones. My sisters got me into the underground scene from a young age, and I enjoy jungle, drum n bass, old school, hard core and rock. I like to think that all these influences are reflected in my music, with some rock, country and hip hop elements in the songs here.
Things weren’t always easy but I have always been determined to make progress through music and to get things moving I recorded myself on my home Karaoke machine and just sang a few of my favourite songs without any music and started sending them out. I was sure that eventually someone would sit up and take notice and one of these recordings found its way to songwriter Jules Kleiser who liked it enough to want to get into the studio and work on some tracks. And that’s how it all got started.
