In 2001, with the company of dj Bobo from Brasil i started to be interested in Reggae Music. After one year spent listening positive reggae vibrations we started to organize local parties in the north of Italy. The beginning was difficult; in an environment used to rock music, reggae sounds like something unusual. Anyway after the first year of dates and long trips, a good number of people started to know us as spreader of reggae vibes. From that time followed us as a constant massive (that we still respect). We started to play new roots on riddims, and knowing Luca, alias Mr Snake, we decided to create our sound system. In 2003 we united on the name of MAMADJAMBE SOUND SYSTEM and we started to build our Sound. All my money in that period has been used for subwoofers, amps, consolles, vynils, cables and music equipment. In 2005 i started to travel and develop my passion for reggae music. Thanks to the experience gained in the bashments and dancehalls organized in Milano with big italian sound names, i could easily start to play tunes in european cities like Bucarest, Salonicco and Dublin. In Dublin, with the help of other foreigners artists, i created a collective of reggae music that played every week in famous places like Temple Bar Music Centar. After that i started to play in clubs, squat and festival beetween Italy and Greece (where i lived for one year). Knowing positive people all over Europe, i arrived in Beograd, where now i live and play music as selecta. In the last two years i developed my passion for Roots and Dub roots music, that till know are my favorites subgenres of reggae. Since the beginning i never played songs with omophobic and violent contents cause i strictly belive that reggae is Peace, Love and Unity instead of violence (As the most of the dancehall "artists" want to make us think). Nowaday i'm active as selecta and with MAMADJAMBE (6200 watts homemade) SOUND SYSTEM.
