About Me

About me..... I'm at a point in my life where I'm forgetting what fear means. I know what you think it means, but I'm under the impression the definition should be something like.... the feeling you get when you aren't used to doing something, so you need to attack it to make it a nature action. I'm talking about the feeling you get when you are uncomfortable in a situation that isn't life threatening, but is holding you back like asking someone out, asking someone for help that you don't know, taking that calculated risk, etc. I'm at a place where I'm really trying to push myself to use my full potential, and that was on my mind today. I got saved today. It was a strange feeling. I was sitting in church, and this overwhelming feeling came over me to be saved. It is still a blur, bc I don't believe it actually happened. I didn't think it ever would, but I have this calmness over me that everything will be ok as long as I keep my faith. That is all.

I don't watch much television these days, too much garbage...except for PBS.

Books:

Right now I'm reading alot of self-improvement books. How to Win Friends and Influence People is a good one...it's by Dale Carnegie. Another good book is Marlie and Me. It's a book about a dog and its antics. It is hilarious. Catch-22 is another funny book. Its probably the funniest book I've ever read. I haven't finished it, but it's awesome. One of my favorites. The Hobbit was good as well. One more.... How to Raise Yourself From Failure to Success in Selling. It is about people skills. Awesome.

Heroes:

Spiderman....duh!!!

My Blog

I've always been a fan of The Raven by Poe

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore -- while I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, as if someone wa...
