Allow me to introduce myself, my name is BLAZE & I've created a business concept as an end-result of how many songs mention "herb" in the lyrics. The brand name is HERB-N-LYRICS, pronounced Urban Lyrics; a perfect way to disguise the obvious... in addition to being subject matter that millions can identify with - smoking and music.
We specialize in producing compilation CDs & mixtapes. Thing is, for an artist to qualify for our CD ~ he or she must mention "herb" (marijuana or one of its many other names) in their lyrics. Thus the name HERB-N-LYRICS.
The concept originated as a result of noticing how many songs mentioned "herb" and over time I became fascinated with how the "herb" had influenced the music. I began cataloging all songs that mentioned "herb" discretely or out loud, of every genre, and made marijuana mix-tapes. I made several volumes that were well received. I continued developing my niche further by creating & promoting a events, short films, and merchandise; and the reoccurring theme was marijuana. I launched an online Radio Station that allowed me to help release new artists and sell their CDs & Concert Ticket online based on just one "herb" song on the station or mixtape.
It is our mission at HERBNLYRICS Entertainment to become a major-distributed independent label. Therefore we are currently looking ARTIST that will allow us to include their songs that mention "herb" on themed compilations (of all genres) intended to attract the herb-friendly audience and the ears of A&R at Major Recording Companies.
It is our GOAL to make 3 volumes in 30 Days & a Documentary about the process, the people involved, and the battle for ONE POUND.
