I started gettin into music at a very early age. as soon as i could walk i was banging away at the piano. i started to actually learn how to play at six and took lessons in classical and theory for 5 years. after that i got tired of classical and learned more contemporary songs for another 3 years. after that i was all self taught just sight reading and learning what i wanted to learn. I just got a guitar this christmas and i've been fortunate enough to be getting lessons from Toby Emerson. next to piano, singing has always been my greatest passion. i started singing at age 11 when my friend got into singing country music. she was really good and she got alot of attention for it so i started singing country songs too. i wasnt very good at first, but i loved it so much that i stuck with it. thankfully though i got tired of the country scene. i got lessons here and there and sang in groups. for awhile i sortof gave up on singing and focused on other things until i met Toby. We would go to parties and he would bring his guitar and there would always be amazing jam sessions. at first i would sing so softly that only i could hear myself but someone would always tell me to sing louder so i would. I guess toby heard something he liked, so last summer he asked me to do backup vocals on his song entitled Rapture. it was recently released and is climbling the charts on the beatport top 100 in techno/trance. more recently Toby and his Aussie partner in crime, Tom Day, who together call themselves solid inc, were asked to do the opening song for the new FL studio. Toby asked me to do the vocals for it and i was so elated that he asked me. the song is entitled Eternity. not too long after we recorded Eternity Toby asked me to sing vocals for his new creation called "In the Night." so we had a few beers, sat down and worked out the lyrics and I sang a couple of verses. The whole song turned out incredibly well and Tom Day was so stolked on it that he quickly made an amazing remix which you can check out on his myspace page. thats all i can tell you for now......Profile Edit By Myspace Profile Editor
