N. Justin Hunter

Writer, Photographer and All Around Decent Guy.

About Me

Howdy folks! Well to begin with, I’m a writer and photographer based out of our nation’s wonderful capital, Ottawa, ON. I decided to set up this Myspace account as a way to connect with all sorts of folks of interest. I also thought it would be a great way to put some of my writing and photography portfolio online, while at the same time offering a forum for people to comment on the stories I’ve written. So feel free to stop by, make yourself at home on my page and bump around for a bit. If you have an opinion, this is the place to express it. Read a few articles, and if you agree or disagree with something I wrote let me and the rest of the world wide web know.

My Interests

Photgraphy, Writing, Music, Films, Reading, Thinking, Debates, Wine, Tuesdays, Running, Canada, The World, Politics, Philosophy, Hockey, Football, Poetry and You.

I'd like to meet:

All sorts of interesting folks. Think that I should write a story about you or someone you know, just drop me a line. I am always on the lookout for new ideas. You Can Meet Me at….613-796-3876 (cell) [email protected] 1207-370 Metcalfe St. Ottawa, ON K2P 1S9If you are a band and you want me to review your album, please mail it to the address above, or drop me a line. Some reviews will go up online, whereas others could make their way into the Ottawa Xpress. MP3 reviews will likely never get pitched to any of my editors, so bear that in mind.

Music:

I write about music so I wouldn't even know where to begin in completing this section. Read my posts for all sorts of interesting musical news.

Movies:

Guess what? I write about films as well. I will again refer you to the posts.

Television:

I don't write about television. Television is not a 'cool' medium (McLuhan didn't know about HDTV). However, I love BBC's The Office, Little Britain, Mr. Show, Austin City Limits, The Simpsons, HNIC, Futurama, Seinfeld, Curb your Enthusiasm, Mountain Stage, Play

Books:

Vernon God Little (Pierre), Unsung Heroes of American Industry (Poirier), No Great Mischief (MacLeod), The Sweet Hereafter (Banks), Barrytown Trilogy (Doyle), Stone Angel (Laurence), Macbeth (Shakespeare), USA Trilogy (Passos), The Old Man and the Sea (Hemmingway), Pygmalion (Shaw), High Fidelity (Hornby)... I guess I like books

Heroes:

my parents and my little sister, Terry Fox. I think that very few 'real' heroes get the recognition that they deserve.
