After successfully pawning and repawning we would say that we are masters of the pawn shop. One day we plan to peruse the fine collected goods of the worlds financially challenged and perhaps make "purchases" Until then we will relish in the fact that we have two guitars not in the pawn shop and with varying action and amazing acoustic litter.
We love the idea our days can be irrevocably altered by fresh sounds infecting our mentals.
As usual our lives are delicately balanced in that fine see-saw that most of us embrace as life. It seems both inevitable and perpetual that our lives will border on complete destruction of comfort and enlightenment of epic proportions.
Brian was born in Jersey, baptised in the lower haight, bored at West Point, blessed in Korea, and beat assailed in Miami. The others are from outer space locations known only to powers funkier than you and I.
We have spent the better part of 6 years promoting and helping people we believe in make more friends to share good music with. We have encountered a fair amount of jokers and a fair amount of brothers and sisters and its all quite beautiful if you really get down to it.
Promise Family made waves by pushing the limits of the Southeast Electronic Dance scene. We made a difference by trying to bridge charity and dance scene into each event. We worked with many charities and many groups.
Groove Circus are a Live PA / Producers and currently hosts two members. Many guests have joined us in our journeys. Notable talents during the formation are Marcus Rich, Trey Hebson, and Brian Katz. Justin handled the saxophone for awhile and there have been many guest sessions. We have gone many ways since the early days and each has taken a new path.The ninja bass player and I have been performing since we met in 1998 and have an EP almost finished and plan on releasing all new material by Summer 2008.
