Myspace BackgroundsSamson & Goliath began with one girl, one silly little girl with big dreams of doing something super special. She wanted to play in front of cheap PA systems, feast on value menu food, and write the songs her friends loved. It was a difficult task. But she was set to perform it to the best of her small-statured ability.
Simultaneously, an extraordinarily Jewish-looking boy was growing up in the nearby burg. He was part boy, part magical dragon, and he flew about in his early age granting wishes and collecting teeth! At some point, he picked up a six-string guitar and focused all his dragon-magic on the instrument. History was changed forever.
Years passed, and the band Samson & Goliath came into existence. A show was booked, even, a real show. The girl couldn't help but be nervous. She thought it would be easy to prepare.
But she felt like something was needed. Something... Jewish. Something... percussed.
It was on a magical Thursday night towards the middle of April when the girl finally got down on one knee and asked the Jew of her life to join her in Holy Bandtrimony. It was settled that very night. Samson & Goliath was now two hard-working individuals with one goal in mind: To be as awesome and rad as humanly possible.
Now, Samson & Goliath travels the world, waiting for the opportunity to rock some faces. We've played Kilby Court, New Song Underground, the Murray Theater, and numerous tidy cafes.
