Dwayne "Antwoinne" Perry“Without music, life would be a mistake.†– Nietzsche. By that caliber; Antwoinne’s life is not a mistake – he was blessed with the gift of creativity and a love for music that spans back to his childhood days of singing around the house driving his mother crazy. This love for music continues today with his passionate ballads, seductive serenades, and universal feel-good tracks that speak to the masses. With that gift also came diversity, which is remarkably showcased when he gets on stage and becomes the ever ready entertainer, plays the behind the scenes role of songwriter, or even surprises you with his versatility to rap. With God given talents such as these, even if Antwoinne failed at a shot for the moon he'd still land amongst the stars. As with most R&B artists, Antwoinne's earliest memories with music revolved around the church and school choirs as he was growing up. After joining the Air Force immediately after high school, Antwoinne was able to spread not only his wings as an emerging adult but also as an emerging artist. While in the Air Force, Antwoinne performed in various base wide and Air Force wide talent competitions. His most notable achievement in performing to date is being named "First Place Male Vocalist in the Air Force" in 2005. It was at this time that it became perfectly clear to him what he was destined to do.Since then Antwoinne has begun the daunting task of preparing himself for his future by writing and recording numerous songs, as well as undertaking a slew of collaborations and shows in an attempt to build and grow to his fullest potential. These songs to date have garnered much praise and many fans are anxiously awaiting his debut album. Antwoinne’s key mission is to make his music fully relatable, and to represent more than the average artist in terms of lyrical content. He aspires to songs that speaks to fans. Having those that listen to your music, connect with your words, and feel what you feel, is the ultimate compliment to any artist. This is what he wants and strives for.Antwoinne's drive and passion for music can be summed up with the following statement: "Music is my love, and love for the music will get you farther than love of money and fame any day. In my opinion I could never make it big in the industry or get signed to a major label and would still be happy with the music I've made, and I would continue making great music, doing exactly what it is that I love."
