We make plans....God laughs!

About Me

I proudly grew up in Lone Pine, CA--at the base of Mt. Whitney on Hwy 395. I have a great husband and 4 incredible kids. They are my life and my joy! I am a soon-to-be proud "Grammy"! IT'S A BOY and his name is Eli Vincent! He has a God-calling on his life and we can't wait to meet this special little boy the end of May! I love my kids more than life itself--but they DO keep me on my knees at every turn, let me tell you... :) My two oldest are after my own heart and I am sooo proud of them! Shondra is now an EMT and Kalyn is a firefighter/EMT! Who'd a thought the medical gene was really gonna come out?! I didn't, but YAY!! I loved my time in EMS, long ago and far away...! After 2 1/2 years, we are finally in our new home. Little by little we are making it "home" inside."Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all you mind, all your soul, and all your strength."Myspace For Girls Only - MyGirlySpace.com

My Interests

Softball, volleyball, pool, games, anything FUN...going out to eat, spending time with my family and my kids (my girls, especially, when we are on a bad humor and laughing roll!!), working with folks at church, and spending time with friends (tho I don't do that nearly enough!).

I'd like to meet:

I don't need to "meet" them....I already I HONOR those in our armed forces, our Fire Service and our EMS--they give selflessly and with great courage, serving their country, and their communities. SUPPORT, BLESS and PRAY for them!

Music:

Old school music....anything from Bing Crosby & Andy Williams' Christmas music, to 80's, to my favorite christian group, Casting Crowns!

Movies:

I don't watch too many, but love the romantic comedies...one of my fav's is While You Were Sleeping with Sandra Bullock. Another is Wedding Planner. I do like Veggie Tales, Mr Rogers, and Disney movies, too (what do you expect after having 4 kids?!!).

Television:

Jeopardy!...when the 10-12 yr olds are playing--then I feel SMART!! I do like cooking shows, even though I don't cook anything they do or nearly as much as I should...

Books:

Well, I'm not too much a reader these days--don't have the time! I do believe the Bible is THE book....but as far as recreational reading, I love Reader's Digest!

Heroes:

I would have to say my personal hero was my dad. He fought so many years with ailments that caused him the amputation of both legs...they'd always tell him he'd never walk again...but he showed them all up and beat the odds at every turn. He had a strong will and a big heart. I love ya, Dad...
