Melissa "Lis'ette" Williams brings a breath of fresh air to any atmosphere she enters. Lis'ette was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma but she currently resides in Memphis, TN. Lis'ette maintains interests in, and has been blessed with talent in writing, acting, and modeling. She plans to one day become a well known author and publish many books. Lis'ette has participated in acting and theatre since she was in elementary school and has held lead roles in many productions. She describes acting as an extension of who she is, and a catalyst to use emotion and energy productively. Lis'ette prides herself on being more than just a pretty face. While she enjoys modeling she understands and stresses the importance of inner beauty and self love, and plans to work with adolescents and young women to raise awareness on more serious matters such as Sexual Awareness and Domestic Violence prevention. At the age of 17 Lis'ette was mentored and groomed by former international model Jamil Gotcher. After Lis'ette finished high school she went on to pursue her bachelor's degree. Since then, Lis'ette has re-entered the modeling world. She has participated in two runway shows, one of which was a benefit show for Selah Couture to raise money and awareness for the disease Endometriosis. Currently she is working with local photographers on various projects and participating in local fashion shows. Lis'ette also plans to get involved with upcoming acting projects. Lis'ette belongs to the Elite 10 Talent group in Memphis, TN. The groups motto is, "We are more than just pretty faces." Lis'ette's biggest goal is to become a household name while having a positive impact on individuals both directly and indirectly.
