Young Dynamite a.K.a Da Lyrical Jamaican Prince was born in Kingston, Jamaica on August 10, 1987. He moved to the states at the age of 10 and became interested in being a artist at the age of 16 while living in Baltimore, MD. His main influence was JR Writer from Dipset, he enjoys listening to many different kinds of music, but what really grabs my attention in music is punchlines and delivery which one of the reasons he decided to give it a try for himself. He thought is was a good idea to do both rap and reggae to grab attention from the carribean and the american crowd, but when he started out he didnt think he was good enough, so he was a bit shy to let anyone hear what he had. When what he had was actually good for a amatuer, people seen potential in him and the more he tried the more influences he got, the more courage he gained and the better became..Now he is more confident than ever and he is proud of that. Now he gets good feedback from whoever he come across when they hear him and positive encouragement builds motivation.
