About Me

Rape...abortion...grand larceny... and that was just 1995. Kesha has dealt with more issues in her 27 years, than some people have dealt with in their whole lifetime.
This is a tale of how a low self-image combined with an emotionally absent father can potentially play a major role in the development of a young black woman.

"In My Lifetime" is a must-read for everyone - By sharing her life up to now, Kesha hopes to shed some light on the debate of worth based on color, and the importance of developing, molding, and maintaining a sense of self in young black women.

"It's easier for me to be emotionally absent and indulge in mindless, brainless activities and conversation, than to deal with anyone on any type of emotional level... Writing this book has been a release and has helped me. I hope by reading this book, it will help someone else."
