About Me

Hi, My name is Bongo Steve and I'm the moderator of OpenBlogPoetry. The OBP is a place for anyone to post their poetry and have it appreciated by many. You don't have to be a great poet to post, infact we think that some of the best poems come from normal everyday people. The OBP was created about 5 years ago and we plan to continue for many more.
We're back up and running. we have two different options for your expression, our blog and our group. each are done differently, the blog is the part that the OBP runs, where as in the group we just watch over the poetry free for all.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Our Blog is where we post poetry from people all over myspace in a five poem entry. Some of the poems come from veteran poets, others from people who are just starting out, and some are annonymous meaning that we can post your poem without any one knowing that it was you.
If you want to have a poem considered for posting in our blog, send it either here in message or to our email address, [email protected], and tell us whether you want to be annonymous or if not, then what your myspace is and your name so that we can post a link and give you credit.
When we post a blog entry, we also post a bulletin letting everyone in our friends list know about it. We'd like to do a post a week but it'll take a little time to reach that speed so be patient.
