-WE ARE CURRENTLY UNDERGOING DIFFICULTIES F-Y-EYEElevatone formed in like 2002 or something. Drummer/vox griff beheler and nikhil shah (guitar) met at a Roanoke College basketball camp. After discussing KoRn multiple evenings a week we decided to jam. Song writing in the beginning was fairly slow, playing numerous covers. At the time we were 13. As we began writing songs of our own, ex members of "Clown", daniel and dale cupp, joined in on the musical ventures allowing us to compose as a full band. After deciding upon multiple band names, nikhil came up with Elevatone and it has been such ever since. Though within a couple of months, and after much procrastination the "band" broke up, this was in 2003ish. The band recruited William (of BTR) for a slight moment, this is when Purple Pond Cave was first conceptualized. Again after much procrastination the band never fully came to be. Nikhil and Griff finished high school, and as luck or fate would have it these two ran into each other on Virginia Western’s campus and in rejoice proceeded to "jam". Elevatone at this time acknowledged the talents of Dan Perdun (ex-vox HJ&G and REX 84) adding him to the group once a sample number of songs were created. After recollecting the attitude and experiences which compelled us to play, we revived the songs of old and now have 12 tracks. 1 of which existing as a B-side. We are currently writing new music and looking for shows.
