Stuck In The Mud is a punk/alternative (for those of you who didnt read the headline) band with members from both Rockville and Bethesda Maryland who are all juniors in high school. Their influences range from punk to metal to ska to classic rock to the Tony Hawk videogame soundtracks. The original line-up, which consisted of Kaan Or, Jeremy Batt, Max Barnes, and Julian Palau, started back in 2005. However, due to long absences of practices, enthusiasm, and any chance of getting groupies, they failed to perform very often (as in once). After Kaan left the band in 2006, and another long break (mainly due to laziness by the dummer), the band started up again with Kevin Alexander in late 2007. The band hopes to someday be halfway-decent, and then the day after that, kickass.They have played at local venues like the Electric Maid, Blondeshells, and uh....well that about sums it up.They are ANTI- paul green's school of rock, war, homophobia, and guitar hero cover bands.
