Band Members: just me, the computer, two theremins and an odd collection of instruments
Influences: From a pure theremin point of view my favourites are Dorit Chrysler, Lydia Kavina, Samuel Hoffman, Peter Pringle, Celia Sheen, Clara Rockmore, Barbara Buchholz. I don’t try to play my theremin anything like them because whats the point, they are all ridiculously brilliant in their playing and compositions.
General influences are the air around us, Mick Karn, David Sylvian, insects, Japan the country and the band, the Pixies, sephiny, the Smiths, Jaco Pastorius, Pearl Jam, the Beatles,Prince, bass guitars, my yamaha cs5 synth !!!!, prophet 5’s, jupiter 8’s, juno 60’s, anything that makes interesting sounds, painting, vampires, vampire slayers, Jap Horror films.
