Corpse Of A Window

About Me

...Corpse Of A Window is a musical project springing from the talents of Trevor Potts, in the bleak and dreary New Jersey-side suburbs of Philadelphia. The sounds produced and recorded are more than anything else an emotional and intellectual discharge of raw and artistic nostalgia. The rich sounds produced via synthesizer and programmed bass guitar accompany extremely complex, metal-influenced drum machine beats topped off by Trevor Potts's melodic and versatile vocals. It may be hard to believe in the cookie-cutter world of today's music industry, but CoaW can in complete honesty be referred to as a highly original act, not limited by genre. Synthpop, perhaps, but the realistic bass and elaborate beats betray such a label, just as the emotionally engaging song structures and dynamic chord progressions would negate the "goth" genre. Corpse Of A Window is influenced by the eighties, nineties, and beyond and is a project ahead of its time, but still honoring its influences. Corpse Of A Window is still at this point a solo project but I'm networking among acquaintances to find a fitting live synth player and bassist. If you want to see my music played on stage, then tell a friend about it. If you like it, listen to it, and talk about it, put one of my songs in your profile. It may not seem like much, but the number one way that music is spread is through word of mouth. So help me out! In the immortal words of Skinny Puppy, play this music loud, or not at all. Peace! ..
