About us: Divine Dancers is a group of young people dedicated to giving God the glory through dance. Divine Dancers was established in April of 2006 at Second Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sanford, FL where Pastor Marvin Scott Sr. is the pastor under the direction of Sis. Amanda Alexander. God didn't waste anytime in blessing the group; he instantly began to take the group higher in the Lord. Seasons began to change members withdrew from the group. When the group originally started, there were a number of dancers. As time progressed the numbers began to dwindle down. Eventually it was down to 6 faithful individuals.

-Alexis (13)
Yet, God is still God. He's the same God today, yesterday and forever more. Every time there is a performance God moves within the group and touches every member in some sort of way and it can be seen through our dance. Divine Dancers is a group that realizes that as long as we got King Jesus we don't need nobody else. We give thanks to Him for always being there and letting us know that His shoulder is there and we can always lean on it. We have had our share of ups and downs but Glory be to God he knows how much we can bear and we never could've made it without him. People don't understand why we shake loose when we dance. We don't do it for money, we don't do it fame. We do it because God IS giving us Joy and Peace on an everyday basis. That is why Divine Dancers will bless the Lord at all times and his praise shall continually be in our mouth. God bless!
