About Me

Life is going good!! In the past year I've gotten married, changed jobs, and bought a brand new house. I could not be happier. My husband and I have been married now for over a year. Contrary to the advice we received, our first year has been easy and adventurous. The major adjustment was in the was to see myself as "one" with my husband instead of individuals. I am more in love with my husband then I ever have been. Marriage is a God given blessing. Our children remain our 2 labs. We love them so much. They are the most playful, intelligent, and kind dogs ever. Recently our older dog underwent a surgery to remove multiple lesions. She looked like hell, but is doing much better and looks almost back to normal. Some day soon I believe that we'll start our family. Right now we're still enjoying our freedoms: traveling whenever we want/ where ever we want, working a lot of OT, making the bucks, and just hangn'out. Even though we're having the time of our lives I know that having children will be the best and most important thing we ever do.In September I stopped working at the ER and began to work at a women's correctional facility where I continue to be an RN. The work is a different kind of challenge. I feel fortunate to be able to help women whom society has cast aside. It is a christian type of calling. I continue to study and keep my nursing skills as up to date as possible. I am considering going back to school for my masters.+2 months after changing jobs my husband and I moved into our 'brand spankn' new home. We love it. It's the perfect lay out, # of bedrooms/bathrooms, sq footage, and plenty of back yard space. We are slowly decorating it the way we want it- vintage tropics. The project that I'm most excited about is the backyard. In the next few months I hope to have more 'concrete' plans as to the vision for our backyard.Things have turned out greater than I could have ever imagined. I look forward to the adventures that life holds for me. I thank God for my husband, family, and friends.Peace and lots of loveNicole

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Ever since I can remember my relatives have instilled in me that FAMILY is all you have. Meeting my great aunts, uncles, 2nd and 3rd cousins in Cuba would be awesome. I've spoken with them on the phone and they are the most gracious loving people. Growing up, my Father and Grandparents told me so many stories of the way things 'were' in Cuba and the strong bonds they had and still have with those that never left the Island.Since my husband is also half Cuban we both share the same desire and dream.
