About Me

FADE Magazine will bring the Tampa Bay area everything it needs to know about music, movies, restaurants, bars, sports, and everything else entertainment at no cost to you, the reader. We will be featuring the events and the music that you want to know about. Our goal here at FADE-Mag is to once and for all, bridge the ever widening gap between Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, and Sarasota. As you read this you are living in one of these cities, and have no idea about most of the undiscovered gems which can be found in your neighboring communities. If you make your home in Tampa you probably know nothing of the growing art scene in downtown St. Pete, or if you lay your head to bed each night in Clearwater you most likely have never been to any of the bars that explode in Siesta Key every Friday night, those of you that reside in Sarasota rarely make it to South Tampa to check out the SoHo and Hyde Park scene.
Presently, there is no publication in this area that represents the expanding 18-34 year old demographic in the Tampa Bay area. If you want to find movie times and book signings you know where to look, but at FADE-Mag our inquiring minds force us to go deeper. If you take going out seriously, then look no further because we are entertainment professionals.
By picking up one issue of FADE-Mag you will immediately notice that we are different then any other local publication you have ever read. Our content is smart and funny, our music department is run by real DJs, and our recurring columns like FADE to Black and FADE Upfront will really challenge the ways you think. We are a product of Tampa Bay, and we know what drives this community. We embrace how great it is to be from this area. How many people live in a city with a metropolitan population of over 2.5 million people, 30 miles of white sandy beaches, one Super Bowl Champion football team, one Stanley Cup Champion hockey team, and two of the best boxers in the business right now Tampa's Antonio Tarver and St. Pete's Winky Wright.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: www.FADEmagazine.com
Influences: The style and content of popular national publications such as Rolling Stone, Maxim, Playboy, and Men's Health but brought to the reader with local flavor.

Our music influences are without boundary. We understand that all of you listen to and identify with many different musical styles. That is why we will be playing tracks from anything from Rock, to Hip-Hop, to Country, to Reggae. We also will be putting on shows at different venues around the area. If you are a local musician and would like to be a part of one of our shows or have your music promoted on our page, please contact us. Our only stipulation is that you have originality and energy…some talent doesn’t hurt either.

Our comedic influences come from a lot of different people. There are the classics such as Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy (before he sold out and started taking every check offered to him, pretty much anything after Beverly Hills Cop III), George Carlin, and John Candy to today’s best and brightest like Dane Cook, Dave Attell, Dave Chappell, and of course Will Ferrell
