What is there to say about me?

I'm a wife, I've been with my husband since we were 16, and we've been happily married for five years now!

I'm a mother of two beautiful daughters. A spirited 2 year and a new born, who both keep me busy and laughing. I am the cook, the maid, the changer of diapers and toy batteries, the say-er of "no", keeper of the snack drawer, and finder of lost shoes... because I'm "mama"

I'm an "art junky" and often find myself saying things like "Hey, I could make that." I probably shouldn't be allowed near a craft store unsupervised. I have perfectionist issues that some have hinted may be at an unhealthy level - yet I find it impossible to be creative and tidy at the same time. Which is probably a good thing, because if I ever did learn the secret to being organized... there's a very good chance I would become ego-maniacal and/or take over the world.

My Interests

Anything creative. I love to draw, paint, make jewelry, scrapbook, write, color in my daughter's coloring books... if you can find it in a craft store... I want to try it!

I'd like to meet:

I look forward to meeting the women that my beautiful daughters will one day grow to be. But for now I'm more than content to enjoy the children they are today.

Music:

Stavesacre, Live, Collective Soul, POD, Dashboard, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Willy Nelson, Johny Cash, Fleetwood Mac... it all depends on how I feel and if I have control over the stereo (which isn't often)

Movies:

The Shawshank Redemption, Empire Records, The Long Kiss Good Night, The Frightners, Finding Nemo, The Mummy, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Blazing Saddles, Space Balls, The Forgotten, ect.

Television:

I am obsessed with stand up comedians. I'll watch the sames specials over and over again and still think they're funny. I love Discovery Health, TLC, HGTV, and DIY and I enjoy a good crime/forensic show. Thanks to the power of DVR I never have to worry about missing an episode of House or Grey's.

Books:

I'll admit it... I'm a Scifi/Fantasy nerd. I'm okay with it.
