About Me

umm, I'm luke? Fire and lightning absolutely fascinate me. I like photos and think photography is amazing, though I hardly ever take any pictures of my own. I dislike watching sports, yet I watch the superbowl pretty much every year. I hate liars, fakes, and hypocrites. I do know, however, that I am sometimes one of them. The thing I hate most is being lied to. I can't stand back-stabbers. I'm a trusting person unless my trust is betrayed. I love anything that provokes my thoughts, whether it be a book, movie, song, or another person's ideas. I find it hard to take people who can't spell or speak correctly seriously. It's sad that stupid people are breeding and promoting ignorance. It makes it much more difficult to find someone to have a good conversation with. My favorite band is Bad Religion. "Sanity is a state of mind in a world that is always changing." I love the strange and fantastic. Spontaneity is an attractive quality. EMBRACE ABNORMALITY. The sad thing is... A lot of people go through their entire lives, without even questioning things. Without even considering they had potential. Just totally oblivious to it. Oblivious to their soul's existence.

My Interests

Books, the guitar, climbing, video games (we all need our distractions), snow skiing, and water skiing (NOT wakeboarding). I love music, though I will never say it is my life.

lemme see here... I need to update this section very badly, but im really lazy and it requires a lot of thought. Garden State, Lord of the Rings, Shaun of the Dead, Dead and Breakfast, Breakfast Club, Kiss of the Dragon, Legend of Drunken Master, Hero, House of Flying Daggers, Fearless, Kung Fu Hustle, Enter the Dragon. The Matrix.. but only the first one. Ready to Rumble, True Romance. Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (new & old), Pirates of the Caribbean, Secret Window, Finding Neverland, Blow (ya, i like Johnny Depp). Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin, Wedding Crashers. uhhh, Finding Nemo, Ice Age, The Incredibles, School of Rock. Gladiator, The Patriot, Braveheart, The Village, Saw, Hotel Rwanda, The Squid and the Whale. V for Vendetta.

Television:

HEROES. Comedy central is always good for a few laughs. Movies are the way to go.

Books:

Cat's Cradle, Kurt Vonnegut. The Dark Tower series, 'Salems Lot, Hearts in Atlantis, Stephen King. Fantasy books, like The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials, Harry Potter, and the Inheritance trilogy. Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World. The Sun Also Rises. Frankenstein. Crime and Punishment.

Heroes:

Julian, Francisco, and pirates, too. And people who make me laugh.
