Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, Alex obtained a particularly splendid digital recording device. In a fairly short period of time after the obtaining of the particularly splendid digital recording device, Alex discovered he could utilize the recording device to record himself practicing the art of music. He recorded here, he recorded there, he recorded everywhere; until one day. It was a particularly marvelous evening, and Alex was sitting by the fireplace, thoughtfully smoking his pipe, when he had a vision. His vision made him realize that maybe, just maybe, he could upload the songs he recorded to Myspace for everyone to hear! Hence this web page you are currently viewing and hopefully merrily enjoying with marvelous bouts of ecstasy being caused by the wonderful melodies flowing through you at this very instant.
Funk upon a time
In the days of the Funkapus
The concept of specially-designed Afronauts
Capable of funkatizing galaxies
Was first laid on man-child
But was later repossessed
And placed among the secrets of the pyramids
Until a more positive attitude
Towards this most sacred phenomenon,
Clone Funk,
Could be acquired
There in these terrestrial projects
It would wait, along with its coinhabitants of kings and pharoahs
Like sleeping beauties with a kiss
That would release them to multiply
In the image of the chosen one:
Dr Funkenstein.
And funk is its own reward.
May I frighten you?
--Parliament, 1976
