Heres is the quick and dirty summation of information about me:
I am a Mac-toting, Birkenstock wearing, overly liberal, heavy metal listening, pacifistic agnostic software engineer. And probably the craziest conglomerate of different personas you will ever meet.
Just be warned I am probably the biggest nerd and most sarcastic smartass you will ever meet. Since I take pacifism and agnosticism quite seriously its quite the interesting combo considering I grew up in an extremely conservative Christian town in West Texas. I tend to go against mainstream belief a lot and am extremely critical of those that hold onto those beliefs because they have never experienced anything to make them see the other side of it all, such as people that believe blindly in something because that is all they know. I am a huge advocate for being open minded and tolerant of other's beliefs.
I do a crapton (thats in metric too) of computer stuff including a ton of software development (mostly open source and some web development) and a bunch of Xbox hobbyist stuff. Other than that I play a lot of pool, hang out with my friends in Arlington, watch a few too many crazy ass movies, read random books, and just recently got back into the whole working out thing which will soon have mountain biking follow it (again).
I am also a software engineer in downtown Ft Worth for a pharmaceutical software company writing transaction processing software. So I deal with a lot of very interesting problems that I have to solve. When I am not doing that these days I am usually working on the house I just bought or nerding out in front of the computer or my Wii.
Other random things about me: I am a Mac person (and a hardcore developer too...amazing how much shit i get for being an engineer and carrying around a mac), I am a refined drinker in other words I will take a microbrew any day of the week before an american crap beer, so I hang out at the flying saucer a lot. I am somewhat of a car enthusiast, I prefer American muscle cars to foreigns. Or if its an exotic I admire it. I just recently got my dream car that I have wanted since I was like 5 years old which is a corvette. I would have loved to have gotten a stingray, but in times of high gas prices, insane insurance, and me not being a great mechanic I had to settle for something more practical than a 35 year old vette, I got a brand new 08 vette instead. Which still has me in awe when I walk out to the garage every morning and realize that wow it was not a dream I have it.
