I'd Rather Lose a Pint of Blood then Sacrifice a ounce of Pride

About Me

....So much has changed in the past few years, and lucky for me all for the better. My wife Megs is knockout blonde that loves to laugh and enjoy everything as much as I do. We got married in the fall two years back in a big beautiful wedding with lots of friends and family. We bought our first house last year.....the perfect house for us. A big blue house with a red door, and a big front porch to sit out on, and a basketball hoop in the back yard too. Its a fairy tale, and every page We turn it just gets better all the time. I went to welding school a few years back, and after getting some experience working for a local steel fabrication and welding shop, I got into the Local 12 IronWorkers Union. IronWorkers are the most respected craftsman in the trade. They do what most are too timid or scared to do. My job is always challenging, some days I'm sitting on a steel beam 4 stories up shoving bolts and spinning a wrench, while others I might be leaning against a ladder welding a section of what will be another piece of Albany's landmark. I love what I do, and the respect that comes from being an IronWorker. God blesses me with grace to not fall off the steel, and Megan sends me to work everyday with the courage to believe in myself and come home safe to her every night. Megs and I are a pretty simple married couple. We like to go to the Cape for vacations in the summer, maybe down to NYC in the fall for a little getaway weekend, or Yankee stadium when those tickets magically fall into my lap, and of course home with our families throughout the holidays. Life is so much fun when you have someone like Megs to share it all with. She's taught me to be humble, be happy, smile & laugh more, and Thank God for all that We have been blessed with. P.S.....GO YANKEES.

My Interests

------------------------------------------------------------ --------------Most anything I do I'm usually with Megs. You might find me catching a saturday Yankee game in the Bronx, or just relaxing on the couch at home with a bowl of ice cream :) We love to go to the Spectrum movie theater ( they've got real butter and fresh popped corn). Not alot of pressure here, if it sounds like it might be fun, chances are you'll find Meg and I there.

I'd like to meet:

Who would I like to meet, you ask?? I already met her....fell in love and married her. I got the best friends in the world, most loving and supportive family too. I'd say I got all my bases covered......Thankyou very much

Music:

Aerosmith, Van Morrison (die hard fan), Billy Joel, Metallica, Staind, F-Timmi, Coheed and Cambria, Saves the Day (Mike introduced me to them), Jimmy Eat World, Mavericks, Me first and the gimme gimme's, Counting Crows, Cranberries, Linkin Park, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash too. When I'm at work or in my truck I love listening to country everything from Tim McGraw, Brooks and Dunn, Toby Keith, and anything else that catches my ear. Been a huge fan of James Taylor since I was little, watching him at SPAC on the lawn every summer. I love Dido, Sade', Norah Jones and Tracy Chapman. I love Paul Simon, and a Big Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett fan (who I once saw from the third row at SPAC, he was incredible a real class act.) But remember I grew up in the 80's so here goes: 38 Special, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Genesis with Phil Collins, the list goes on but I probably will just end up embarassing myself..... I guess I love a little bit of everything on my I pod.

Movies:

of course the classics: Goodfellas, Casino, Usual Suspects, Reservoir Dogs. Snatch, Good Will Hunting, True Romance, Rocky III with Mr. T. A few great ones: BraveHeart, Gladiator, Dances With Wolves, The Last Samurai and 300. Eternal Sunshine on the Spottless Mind, Man on Fire, Willy Wonka I and II, A Fish Called Wanda, Sin City, Twisted and Someone like You. Kill Bill Vol I and II. All of Adam Sandler's movies.....Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds, 50 First Dates, Big Daddy, Billy Madison, he nevers fails to get me laughin my ass off.

Television:

Mostly Reality T.V shows, I get a big kick out of people making complete assholes of themselves on national television. House is our new favorite show. Nip/ Tuck is incredible, can't wait for the new season to start. Law & Order SVU is my all time favorite when its on. Nothing beats the American Idol try outs......where do they find these people???

Books:

Ok so I don't know if this counts under books, cause I really don't enjoy reading very much. Never enough time to sit that long and concentrate. But My Megs got me an "I love you present", one day and it was a "Blue Day Book". I tell you the truth I laughed from cover to cover, and still everytime I pick it up. If you haven't seen it, its full of pictures of animals having real bad days, with the saddest expressions, with just a note from the author under the picture what they must have been feeling at that moment. But if picture books don't count for this catagory, I'd have to say "The Giving Tree", I really try to live my life everyday with that in mind.

Heroes:

Cliche' but my father, definately a man I hope to become like. He's a good role model for me to how to hold my head up and not be afraid to face my fears in life. My wife...She's been through alot in her life and has always mantained an amazin amount of Class and Grace. Some qualities most people fall short of. Lastly alot of the Iron Workers I am lucky to work beside. These guys have absolutely no fear, and I find myself accomplishing tasks I would have been afraid of in the past.
