About me...well...where to begin? Well, my name is Kyle Liechty and I am a sophomore at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I went to high school at the fucking sweet educational hub of Hanover-Horton. I am planning on majoring in Secondary Business Education / Family Sciences and plan ..ing a restaurant someday too. It should be fun.
I like to play and watch all types of sports including hockey, baseball, basketball and football. I love the Red Wings, Tigers, WMU Broncos, and especially the University of Michigan Wolverines.
I jam to all types of music, but mainly the sweet sounds of 80's Rock, Alternative Rock, and basically any form of upbeat music. For movies, I love comedies, suspense / thrillers, and dramas, but most of all, I love animated films like the Jungle Book, the Sword in the Stone, Toy Story, and other Disney Classics.
At WMU, I am on the trumpet line in the Bronco Marching Band. Being in the band is a fucking amazing experience and even though it takes up a lot of time, I am making a new family there. I have quite a few friends at Western, such as Ryan Kasperski, Matt Matuszek, Greg Stevenson, Monica Kovach, Ben Kahler, Ashley Chamberlin, Brian Gumper, Cariston Standish and so on. This is a fucking kick ass group of kids and I am having a blast with them.
I cannot leave out my friends back in the homeland though. These people helped form me to who I am today, not Kyle Liechty, but 'K-Lick.' Friends like Ryan Plank, Bronson Cauthon, Wade Childs, Michael Mayday, Houston Carpenter, Nick Thornsbury, Cole Rogotzke, Eric Bernard, Nathan Richards, Tony Williams, Josh Wrozek, Zack Burkeen, Dustin Hayward, Jake Belloli, Chris Cox, Kenny Byers, Brandon Boucher, Tim Evans and so on are the boys that supported me and have just been there for me every step up the way and I would like to thank them all for that.
Two of my friends that stand out from the rest though are my two best friends, Jerry Taylor and Spenser Pickell. These two guys are always calling and checking up on my and have always been there for me when times were rough. We've had some great times, and even though I am at Western now, I hope the great times will continue into the future.
Also, there is one other person that makes me who I am. This person is very important to me and has changed my life for the best. I started dating Kirstie Hammond on May 19 of 2006, my final day of school EVER (sounds wierd to get a girlfriend after school is all wrapped up and you are going on to college, but for me, it was the smartest decision I've ever made)! I've never had this good of a time with a person, and we have had so many unforgettable experiences that many people could only dream to have. She isn't just my girlfriend though, no, she is much more. She keeps me going when times are rough and I am depressed, she makes me happy just when I am in her presence, and she makes me understand what true love really is. I truly love this girl, and I would love to spend the rest of my life with her by my side.
