Arrive Not Here was formed in the summer of 2008 by guitarist Kyle Brandstatter and drummer Vince Handrick. After the disbandment of their previous musical project, the now defunct Phoenix death metal band Ekser, the two decided to take their musical journey to a more diverse territory. In the fall of 2008, Kyle and Vince recruited longtime friend Kyle Dickinson to play bass guitar for the band. Shortly thereafter, the band found Andrew Spreeman to be a perfect fit for additional guitar duties. Since late 2008 the band has currently been working on their debut full length album entitled ''ENEMY''.
While firmly rooted in melotic metal, Arrive Not Here combines progressive rock, thrash, and acoustic elements to their musical vocabulary therefore embracing a unique blend of Heavy Metal unarguably overshadowed by the current music trends of the decade. With ''ENEMY'', Arrive Not Here plan to take the road less traveled in the current cosmos of Hundreds, if Not thousands of cookie cutter, cliche metal bands and bring some ''forward-thinking'' back to the table.
''ENEMY'' is a seven track concept album which ranges in musical terms from slow, melancholic acoustic jams to an all out assault of brutal, progressive death metal. Lyrically the concept is based on the negative, drastic emotions we all face in life, and touches base on how we deal with them. Sometimes in the most extreme and unnecessary ways.
Current news:
We are now finished writing for the album, we will start recording in May.
