Isust Thompson

Singer,songwriter,guitarist....born in Barbados,curently residing in sweden.Isust(Ice)Thompson has been involved in the music buisness for a number of years now.Shortly after graduating from high school,entered his first musical venture with what turned out to be the first reggae band(REBIRTH) on the island of Barbados.Their first recording(Natty Shanty) spent an amazing amount of weeks at number 1 in the local charts.That band disintigrated after five years and Isust moved on to team up with Swedish band Black Coral spearheaded by pianist John Roachford.After their short tour the Iceman was involved in many other projects as a session player,and even did some appearances with numourous sound systems in and around stockholm which led to the release of his single(REGGAE DOWN) taken from the Swing A Ling"s VOL.1 album in the early 90s....a very interesting piece of music on the singles B side called (DOWN WITH THE HORNS)Spiced up by saxaphonist David Wilczewski and trumpetplayer Goran Kajfes....every radiostation ought to have a copy. Throughout the decades Isust has worked and shared stages with many world renouned acts,including I Jahman Levi,Marcia Griffiths,Anthony B,Dennis Bovell,Osibisa,U Brown,Freddy Mc gregor,even legendary Uncle John Turner to name a few.A very hard working artist who is always on the case.
