About Me

MyspacePrego have been playing their vibrant take on European Roots music for the last 16 years. They’ve built an enviable reputation for great live performances which are bursting with vigour, passion and, above all, genuine humour. They’re a six-piece line up featuring Accordeon or Pipes, Fiddle, Saxes, Guitars, Congas and Bass. They’ve got subtle rhythms blended with the melodic tastes of Europe under-pinned by a very unique UK “drive.” Virtually all of the material is written by band members and it’s always a party when Prego’s on stage. They’ve played more festivals and events than we can possibly mention here but how about Towersey, Whitby Musicport, Pontardawe, Schotts Festival (Belgium), Llangollen, Gosport, Eastleigh, Brampton, Nottingham Riverside…Two worldwide critically acclaimed albums, Mocha Express and Avarela, capture the Prego sound and always leave you wanting more.you can EMAIL US DIRECT at [email protected]
