The DISHRAG DUKES had formed a long time before they even met.
Their awesome human entities stick to each other like a shit can ever
stick to an unlucky sole, to produce smashing mix of humming city
life and private emotional landscapes. The DISHRAG DUKES broke their
first official show at ZERO Club, Prague, CZ ( March 5, 2008 ) and right away got famous with their bold project of public rehearsals.
DJ OHYESKI and DJ MINIFITNESS were taking slow and lazy steps on their
hype way from one-touch rockers to rhythm dictators. Unholy taste for
music, piercing sense for code dressing, pervert sassy looks, touchy
sense of humor, that all brings The DISHRAG DUKES - under the mask of
scene sinisters - straight to the underground of these days. As the
residents at ZERO Club ( Prague, Dusni 8 ) and the 2 Patro Club (
Prague, Dlouha 37 ) and promoters of DISH nights (at 2 Patro ), they
keep on swinging to demonstrate that their work is far from done.
Despite of all intervening visions and changes of mind, their mission
remains the same: to outlast every trend and never compromise.
Passionately anti-war, outspoken on social issues but never shy from
standing up for their beliefs – beer, dust and party.
The DISHRAG
DUKES is nothing but sheer fun of dance and blasting sonic eruptions
packed up in home atmosphere of sweaty lodge where the lights are
dimmed for mellow dancing queens and melting beer bottles clenched in
fists of lucky losers. Alright, the royal dish is served. And one
sniff is never enough.
