Roeland Drost

I am a piano & accordeon player, a singer, composer, actor and voicetrainer. To me making music is very much like story telling. I work solo, all round improvising on the piano; a lot with Julie Scott, reacting on her lovely work! Together we compose and improvise on film and dance, making fimmusic and experimental pop. We own the company: Scott & Drost music and theatre in which we also teach: We developed our own training in which we (re)learn singers and speakers to become real, personal, aware and awake in their bodies, ready to be an authentic story teller indeed, in stead of a copiist of others. Together with cellist Jan Willem Troost I'm preparing an experimental music and songprogram with own material, to tour with. And I sometimes work as a studio or guest musician with others!
