after God, it's difficult to narrow it down
Though, as I've grown older, I've begun to buy less and less music, it is still something I enjoy. I always said that I like all music except rap and country. But, that probably isn't completely true. My favorite genres of music include jazz (specifically vocal standards), some folk music and alternative/rock -- the likes of Harry Connick Jr., David Gray, Ella Fitzgerald, U2, Damien Rice, Sixpence None the Richer... And, I must admit, I do love musical theatre. I grew up with it - what can I say??
Movies definitely can be a vice for me. My favorites are what I would call films instead of movies. Yeah, I like the art films, foreign films and dramas. I enjoy a good, smart comedy from time to time or a nice adventure flick. However, dumb comedies are the worst. Ugh! Some of my favorite films include Schindlers' List; Signs; Moulin Rouge; Star Wars; LOTR; Princess Bride; Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrells.
Recently, I have been watching Heroes, LOST, American Idol, Arrested Development, and The Office.
