I love a good horror movie. The scarier the better. Gorey too! I love B rated T and A flicks. Yeah Troma. Super hero and comicbook character movies. Usually I am entertained with a good dark comedy. Independent flicks. Good comedies. Steer away from the feel good and chick flicks.

So I recently canceled cable to get us motivated to be more active and to punish my kids. I feel like it maybe punishing me more Hehe Anyway, most the shows I enjoy are done and on DVD; "Angel", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Firefly" "Arrested Development" and "Six Feet Under" But I will definitely miss "NCIS", "Bones", "House", "Criminal Minds" "Dexter" and "Hereos" And then of course the "Simpsons", "Family Guy", "South Park" and Adult Swim! Wow I was watching too much TV!

Books:
"American Psycho" rocked and put the movie to shame! "The Abarat" by Clive Barker was very cool and so was the sequel (Will this movie ever come out?!?). "Venus in furs" and "Citizen Vampire" are old favorites. Stephen King and Anne Rice always peak my interest. I just recently read the whole "Cirque du Freak" series and wow I see why my daughter was fiending to get the next one (Darren Shan is a good writer even if it's teen stuff)! Basically give me a good dark premise and I am on board. Just like movies I stay away from the romantic girly crap. Some self help books if they catch my eye. Of course anything with BDSM content is always a good read.
