About Me

Well to reduce one's life to a small block of HTML code stored on some server in Iowa seems a tad naive but one must make an effort. I go to UNCC as an international studies major, which, as time has shown, 99 percent of people will ask, is how the US fits in with the modern world, and vice versa. I plan to go on to get at least my masters degree straight off, and most likely my doctorate. I work at the local mall Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor/Coffee Master. I basically wander in, make drinks, yell at people to do their jobs, and teach people about what they came in to buy. I do love my job, which puts me in perhaps .2% of the population. Oh, and I throw ice at Derek. And occasionally hit people with a whisk. Sorry, inside joke. Well, not really. I do actually do those things. Life's quite an odd thing really, and not always an enjoyable experience, as I'm constantly discovering. I keep hoping it'll even out at some point, but I've not found that to be the case. I do enjoy the typical things one would put here, music, tv, movies, etc..but in different and more complicated ways than most would say. Tech stuff is always interesting, as its constantly changing and advancing. Gaming of any kind as well. I gave up on Microsoft a long time ago, and ended up a hardcore mac proponent. Really my wish for the world is that people would actually try to think occasionally, as it would solve quite a few problems. Christianity, Libertarianism, and the game of chess would take a significant boost from it, while the democratic party, atheism and whoever thought up the idea that Nickelback was actually a good band would go away, leaving me in peace for once. I believe there must be a culture somewhere in which Ben Folds and Joss Whedon are at the very least minor deities, and where Richard Dawkins is burned in effigy every night, to lull the children to sleep. I hope to find it someday. I tend to argue most people into the ground, either because they get stuck or I give up after an hour of trying to get them to think outside the box they've trapped themselves in. Scares em I guess. If I hear about Richard Dawkins, Barack Obama, Al Gore or any other proclaimed savior of the human race I'm going on a shooting spree. No one knows their history anymore, and no one cares. We've been reduced to a race of miscreants wandering the planet with a 3 second memory. Although perhaps reduced is the wrong phrase, we've been one for the past 10,000 years, ever since that funny episode on a mountain in Mesopotamia. I mourn for the world daily, and hope things end soon, but preferably after I sort out my own issues, which probably outnumber yours.

You Have a Choleric Temperament
You are a person of great enthusiasm - easily excited by many things.
Unsatisfied by the ordinary, you are reaching for an epic, extraordinary life.
You want the best. The best life. The best love. The best reputation.
You posses a sharp and keen intellect. Your mind is your primary weapon.
Strong willed, nothing can keep you down. Your energy can break down any wall.
You're an instantly passionate person - and this passion gives you an intoxicating power over others.
At your worst, you are a narcissist. Full of yourself and even proud of your faults.
Stubborn and opinionated, you know what you think is right. End of discussion.
A bit of a misanthrope, you often see others as weak, ignorant, and inferior. What Temperment Are You?
