Hey, Im Ian Frontman of Lowestoft's heavy hard rock band Untold. Ive been the frontman for the 4 member set since me & my good friend Matty started back in 2003. I play lead guitar plus lead vox, so now you know i can multi task. I got my first guitar Christmas 1997 but it didn't really reflect onto me at all, considering the guitar in my wardrobe for 5 Years!! If i can remember rightly I got the guitar out of the warddrobe because of some sort out, but there was something in the mind for not chucking it. I sat down & picked one string & due to myself not knowing what the fuck i was doing, i got somehow hooked. I frequently asked for a new guitar, but as parents would say "it will be a 5 minute wonder"... To cut a long story short, i adventualy got my guitar & 15 watt amp for my Birthday - still of course not knowing what dos what, but i slowly picked up on guitar & a investment of a tab book. For the first couple of weeks & Months I learnt the blues, simple notations, hammer on's...oh and pull offs. I also started listening to John Pearse, Eric Clapton, Led Zeplin, ACDC, Metallica, Nickelback ect I won't go into great detail but dueing myself learning 6 string electric guitar I asked my good friend Matty if he would ever think about drumming, & starting up a band. But in the mean time we were too busy stupidly getting high on strawberry milkshake powder... Yes... But it soon came around & we did start up a 2 man band. I slowly picked up guitaring at my private tutoring lessons with my other good friend Matt (rock on dude, invite me out in america sometime!!) , he had taught me alot of power chords, extreme bends, tuning, flat picking... You name it. And big thanks to him Ive now started up my own self teaching guitar method PLUS vocals! Dueing the Years I did pick up brand new guitar's of course & a much wider range of wattidge on the good old amps, & kept on listening to rock music through out the Years & has influenced me in many ways for the music I make & for Untold. I love music aspeically rock or metal. But i think personally music is what created this Earth & for ever will live.
