About Me

alright, so...
I hate these things. Who can take themselves seriously filling out a "band bio"?
? I play guitar, and I love to sing.
? I record on an apple which means I have the luxury of using GarageBand.
? I do not want a career in music- I think that would ruin it for me. I just want to use the gift I feel God has given me to try and make a difference in someone's life, even if it's just my own.
? I am married to a wonderful creative man who inspires me to push myself harder.
? I love an indescribable Lord who takes me as I am, flaws and all and who has been the Father I never had.
? I make music about my friends, my relationships and sometimes other people's relationships.
? I also love playing other people's music, so if you would like to hear me play a particular song let me know.
Thanks for listening.

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: KyleSteedDesign" KyleSteedDesign
Band Members: Amanda Lindsey- Guitar, Vocals
Influences: Sarah McLachlan- her amazing song writing ability and beautiful voice and EXTREMELY impressive guitar/piano skills have totally influenced me. She's taught me to slow down and take my time.

Rafe Grigar- Even though Rafe sucks at calling people back and holding any kind of relationship, he's still a damn good musician and songwriter. If you don't believe me listen for yourself.

Rob Thomas- some of the most beautiful lyrics I have ever read have been from this man. He can take a break-up and turn it into a symphony of words. Talented. He may play everything in the key of G, but who cares when his lyrics rip my heart open?

The Beatles- if I have to explain this to you, you're a moron, seriously.

Bebo Norman his honesty in his music and his humbleness before the Lord is beautiful.
Jewel Who Will Save Your Soul made me pick up my guitar and learn how to f'in play it.

Radiohead They taught me not to be so safe. I don't think my music sounds like them, but they definitely influence me as a musician and artist.

Over The Rhine That voice. Wow.

.
Sounds Like: Jewel, Over The Rhine, Michelle Branch, Sheryl Crow, you know-all those girls.
Type of Label: Major
