About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Born with the sun sparkling in her eyes in the zesty city of Miami, FL Michelle Jubilee Gonzalez was exposed at a very young age to the power and beauty of the arts. As a child she trained in piano and violin and continued all through her high school years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami studying Theater Arts and Music Business. But Michelle Jubilee never saw graduating with a diploma as the finish line; rather, as the commencement of the greatest game yet. So ambitious and focused is she that she continues daily to add to her ocean of knowledge. After graduating, she began some self-taught lessons of languages including German, Italian, and Japanese and crossing into further expansion of her knowledge of the Entertainment Industries. She has taken on the “exciting challenge of Artist Management” for a few close friends who are independent artists and has succeeded in booking venues, negotiating paying gigs, and creating a consistent network of press contacts to write reviews on her artists. She shares that she wants to expose “such brilliant musicians and their powerful art” to the world so that more people can feel the impact of amazing music and appreciate the message that comes with that music.Michelle is not simply a palette of colors, she embodies the full spectrum like a prism reflecting light. She goes beyond being a Renaissance woman to being an incredibly adept warrior of mutability. Highly skilled in the performing arts (singing, violin, & piano), dance (ballet, jazz, modern, salsa, merenegue, afro-cubano, guaguanco, bellydance), acting, and martial arts. In addition, she is currently a 1st degree black belt in Kenpo Karate (www.uskenpokai.com), but she also trains periodically in Systema, Escrima/Doce Pares, and Capoeira. “People hear that I train in martial arts and seem to think I have the arrogance to think I can beat up the world. But really, it makes me appreciate life so much more because I realize more fully the dichotomy of life – we are so strong and so delicate all at once.”
