About Me

Musical project, involving four friends from Lisbon, started in 2000 with the idea to compose an original soundtrack for the film “Un Chien Andalou” - a mark on surrealistic cinema, directed by Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dali in 1929 - , and play it in a real time accompaniment show.
Using specially acoustic instruments, the musicians look for a diversified contemporary sonority, which rambles through genres as ethnic, experimental jazz, indie rock, urban popular music… resulting in one genre, “electric-agricultural”, as they say.

In 2001, they presented one show in “Bairro Alto” (Lisbon), under the name “Les Abat-jours” for the promotion of “v-ludo” magazine, a mixture of music and theatrical performance, with original texts, portraying dreaming moments...
