I’ve been playing drums since January 2001, when I begun studying music at Crescendo. There I learned my very first rock pattern with Luis Bento! A few months later I joined a death metal band with whom I played for about two years. Despite listening to metal bands for a long time, I realised that playing metal isn’t really my thing so, in 2005, I took up a jazz course at JB Jazz (which I’m still currently taking). Apart from other great teachers, I’ve had drums’ lessons with Carlos Miguel and Bruno Pedroso. Finally, by the end of 2008 I ended up joining a Portuguese folk music band with bagpipes and percussions called ‘Cornes’ (if you like bagpipes check myspace!).....
