Chronicles Of Riddick Myspace Layouts in movie myspace layoutsAll songs posted on this site were written - music & lyrics - all instruments played and recorded by myself at my own recording studio Merlin Music over 10 a year span back in NJ where I'm originally from. The singers were various male/female vocalists I had the pleasure to work with to get my songs finished or some mostly finished, there are more, but could only fit four on at a time. Everything was analog and on tape back in the early to mid 80's when most of these songs were recorded unless you were extremely rich. So I apologize for some of the transfer quality since I had to pull them into my computer from cassette tapes. They range from 1982 thru 1993. I'll change the selections from my other songs around down the road so more of my songs can be heard since they vary in style a great deal.

I play Guitar, Bass, Chapman Stick, Drums and a bit of Keys. I can also play guitar/keys or bass/keys along with bass pedals at the same time if needed. Unfortunately for me, I don't sing and have to rely on those who do. I prefer a female lead voice, but am open to anything. My favorite styles of music do require the voice to be in the higher register like Rush, Zep, Aerosmith, Heart, Kansas, and even my own material. I also like heavy funk like Mother's Finest, Parliment, Funkadelics, Rick James, Etc.. I'm based in Ocala and am hoping to find talented people who like to play the same style of music as I do as locally as possible to make things easier for everyone concerned.
Influences: Biggest influence is playing with people of great musical style and know what a groove is. Musicians that know how to get a crowd motivated by enjoying what they are doing on stage. It's infectious of the band is having fun playing what they enjoy - the people listening will usually respond. Playing with people who think that "good enough" is NOT good enough. Being in a band with a kick ass female fronted singer like Ann Wilson from Heart. Being in a band that appreciates eveyone's capabilities and doesn't try to tell the others how to play their own instrument. Being in a band that always appreciates a GOOD soundman and how important that is to the band's reception by the audience. One day I hope to be in a band like this again as I had once along time ago.
Sounds Like: LOOKING FOR FEMALE VOCALIST THAT CAN COVER EVERYTHING FROM HEART TO RUSH. I AM TRYING TO PUT TOGETHER A PROGRESSIVE ROCK TRIBUTE BAND TO SALUTE THE ENTIRE GENRE OF THAT STYLE OF MUSIC.
