The Spiritual Voices

The Spiritual Voices – Biography This group was originally organized by the late Delores (Libby) Brace, and was called The Supreme Voices. We sang “a capella” and the harmony that God gave us was absolutely miraculous. Our style of singing was very different from the other female quartet groups in the area. The Lord saw fit to recruit “Libby” for his “Heavenly Choir”, and we decided that we needed and wanted to keep on singing. Therefore, reorganization was necessary for the group to continue working in the vineyard. In the year of 2001, after much soul-searching, the reorganization took place, and we decided on a new name for the group. The Lord gave Donnell Phillips (our original bass and guitar player) the insight into renaming the group “The Spiritual Voices”. The Spiritual Voices has its own unique style of singing. God has given Chevela the talent to write and arrange our songs to fit our style and voices. Donnell is a very important part of that style we have come to love and embrace. Wherever we go, no one will let us leave without ‘TAKING A RIDE”, or letting them know that we have “BLESSED ASSURANCE” and now "SATISFIED" has become a major statement. "THE CD 'SATISFIED' IS HERE AND YOU CAN PURCHASE ONE"After singing without music for a while, God sent us some fabulous musicians to help us Lift Up His name in song. The MEMBERS are as follows: Chevela Garvin-Leader Singer & Manager / Veola Beecher-Vocalist / Gloria Smith-Vocalist / Toni McCrimmon-Vocalist--MUSICIANS: William Coleman-Band Leader & Bass Guitar / TJ Adams-Drums / Jeffrey Garvin-Lead Guitar---- These are the people who make up "THE SPIRITUAL VOICES"
