One sweltering evening in the summer of 1976, inebriation took over one man’s loins. In one pathetic instant, after rolling over onto his wife of six years, the miracle of life happened. Thirty-seven weeks after passing out that night, a son was brought into the world.
My comedy career began on the couch. With the Stand-up boom of the mid to late 80’s I was exposed to a multitude of comedians, making a list of influences would be impossible. From the most popular Comedians to the Ghosts of Comics Past, I studied them all. The time to put those influences back to work has come. A short term, a few years back, as an Open-Mic’er gives me a head-start on this round, but decidedly different; no cloudy visions of silly boy-hood dreams in the way. Stand-Up Comedy has a new voice. If your desire is to see the best unheard of talent out there, your list is incomplete without the name Eddie James. Mmm, Humble Pie is tasty.
