About Me

I bought my first deck, the Mythic Tarot, in 1990 and have been hooked on tarot ever since.I'm a Film Studies graduate and I've worked as a recording studio technician, pop video editor, waitress and documentary maker, professional tarot reader and librarian. I created my first deck, the Universe Cards, in 1999. My latest, the Quantum Tarot, illustrated by Chris Butler , is due to be published by Kunati in September 2008. The Quantum is a "concept" deck, based on the the exciting and complex ideas behind modern physics. It also draws on images from the Hubble telescope. It aims to make quantum theory, relativity and superstring theory accessible to a general audience - as well as being a readable tarot deck.I also write fiction and screenplays.I live in London with my partner and two very demanding cats.Check out my website at www.kaystopforth.com
