I do what I do to discover the truth which lies within my mind. Since I am a part of the human race I know that whatever preset thoughts I find through contemplation and visualization within art will be parallel to what lies at the bottom of other human’s preset mind. The base of any truth is the beginning of that human’s experiences. Every person’s base truth is hidden by a compilation of cultures, teachings, lessons, and experiences. My base truth is universal in that everyone comes into a collection of coats: culture, teachings, and lessons that cover their truth, giving them a new sight. When going in reverse and discarding those coats a new sight is brought about even so. This reversal sight is in other words an insight into the covering coats. In order to find that beginning within myself I peel away different coatings that have bombarded and covered the beginning of my truth. Coatings such as stereotypes, conformity, and history that have shaped my truth must be peeled back in order to find out what was there before.----------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ - I find my truth through the chaos that tends to interrupt my mission, because when one steps into chaos they can easily be overrun by too many heavy piles. I peel my chaos back using selective visualization as a way to pin one thought at a time so I don’t overbear myself, so that the coatings do not spring back upon me. I tear them off and watch them, scrutinizing them and myself in the process. The force that brings about the action of peeling back coatings takes the form of spoken word and silence. Spoken word comes through music and I experience silent and still moments of contemplation within the noise like a hum when meditating. This process becomes parallel to my ambitions of discovery into the 1st level of my truth. I step directly into my chaos in order to throw it out and clear away the peelings to look at the structure that is hidden beneath. Since my theme is a process in itself I use material such as wood or line to show that motion. This describes the constant pulling and constant movement towards a clear sight.------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------- My contemplations and studies have been focused on music which is the fuel of my meditation into the revealing of my inner core. Music was my first material to contemplate. I chose music so as to create a clear way into conquering my tougher layers. It was a preliminary step into the massive chaos in which I am now deep within. Clothing and hair are the outside layers that I envelope my mind into contemplating now. When I feel that my judgment is failing I must fall back into my basic layer, music, and use it as a breather in order to secure my step. Then with meditation and reevaluations I continue with my insight into different layers, leading me to my inner core which I feel is universal seeing as we all come from the same place, earth. This universal realization helps me in realizing that the reason why I do what I do is to experiment in order to make a universal discovery,----------------------------- me.
