Бешеные Огурцы (Mad Cucumbers)

Группа "Бешеные Огурцы" - уже около 7 лет радует своим творчеством почитателей живой музыки Санкт-Петербурга и многих других городов. "Бешеные Огурцы",- это группа, которая на своих концертах, никогда не станет грузить публику какими-то острыми социальными проблемами и вопить как все хреново. Выходя на сцену, главная цель группы - отвлечь всех пришедших на концерт от их будничных проблем. Пусть все танцуют, веселятся и отдыхают. Ska, Reggae, Latina - это те направления в музыке, которые у людей вызывают только позитивные чувства, поэтому вопрос в выборе музыкального направления перед "Огурцами" не стоял.Одно можно сказать точно - во время выступления ребят на месте устоять, а тем более усидеть, невозможно! Они заряжают своим позитивом и энергетикой и поднимают настроение любому слушателю!***************************************** ************************************************************ ******It was in winter in Saint Petersburg, or ‘Piter’ as the city is often informally referred to. Several old buddies were enjoying their time in a night club. All of you know what is going on in such places: the bands are playing, lots of drive, girls, beer, and all that. A perfect time to start our own musical project, we thought and off we went for the worldwide fame or whatever you wish. Shit, we forgot to choose the name for the group. “Well, let it be Mad Cucumbers”, somebody suggested. Why? And why not? A good name for a ska group. So be it. That was how everything began. Then the ‘routine’ life of modern musicians started: rehearsals and practice (lots of practice), concerts and partying (lots of partying). Mad Cucumbers are welcomed in the best clubs of Saint Petersburg. The band takes part in different music festivals, private parties and other important events of the city’s nightlife. Mad Cucumbers regularly go on tours to other Russian cities and towns and also abroad: Moscow, Petrozavodsk, Pskov, Helsinki, Tampere, etc. When we gathered enough material for our first album, Galya Filatova, the director of the Purga (Snowstorm) club sponsored the studio recording and the first album was released. The album Wanna Have Fun! was recorded and mixed at “No1” studio. The other featured tracks include Macho Ganja Bus, The City, Reggae, Spiderman, I Fell Sick, Rap, The Spring Song, Rumba, The Play, In the Summer Time. Today Mad Cucumbers keep on giving concerts, going on tours and creating new songs for the next album…
