The first MC of significance to be supported by HardBody Inc./Dipset South/Harlem Piff, DaCument is a fresh-faced North Carolinian who gained a lot of attention as a battle rapper. Rapping since 8 years old, DaCument has continued to follow his dream and worked hard to get his name and appearance out and more publicity for himself. Starting out as a independent rapper making his own tracks, he has successfully made his way to the top to get himself with a sucessfull label -- HardBody INC. and also the way he puts his mind to the music he made his way to the DipSet family. With a successful buzz around the streets and internet, DaC really made things work for him musically. The moves that DaCument has made has got him top collabs with top underground artist. DaCument also has been featured on the top, known Dj mixtape of North Carolina, Dj Chuck T, which made a lot of noise when he was featured on his mixtape. People who have been following him through mixtape appearances were more than a little surprised by the single "Aint Got Enough" featuring Traffic & Big Cas, DaCument shined bright on the song, and that was the beginning of something special. Rather than build on his street credibility, DaCument used the song -- with vocal hooks courtesy of LiL Wayne -- to establish himself as an MC who could just deliver a street/clubish chart-aimed hit with equal ease. With people like Freekey Zekey, Jay Bezel, Fred Knuxx, Karen (ASYLUM), and the Diplomat family backing him, nothing has seemed impossible. DaCument's debut street album "Back to Basics" sold over 8,000 copies, in the street and on mixtape sites as in IMIXTAPE.COM & MIXTAPE-BANGERS.COM. His second mixtape Saving The Game did just as good selling a mere 14,000 copies. DaCument is the young voice of the streets. Rapping since 8 years old and now 20 years old, DaCument has made not the biggest but the MOST moves and continuing to do his thing in the music and getting the music out there for the people.
