Wow...it's been AGES since I last completed a new painting! I just finished a new fairy portrait, entitled "Acorn Fairy." My little baby boy model has the most amazing big brown eyes and he embodies the autumn energy. Next, I will be working on two new portraits of two girls with sassy sprite attitude and big blue eyes! Stay tuned!!!I still believe in fairies and I continue to wish on falling stars. The whole concept of "karma" has begun to open my eyes to the Universal effect in my own life, and the many "interesting" turn-of-events I've witnessed recently. My inner-child is still within me and likes to express herself through art, imagination and harnessing the 'magic' of childhood. If you don't find me outside planting, mulching or pruning something, I am in my art studio painting into the night and listening to my favorite music....usually while sipping wine, or tea.LIKES: Trees, sushi, wine, nature, cold/crisp apples, humor, the smells of: lavender, vanilla and freshly ground coffee, my husband's scrambled eggs, honesty, soy lattes, full moons, my husband's crystal blue eyes, LAUGHTER, fishing, a new sheet of 400 lb-cold-press water color paper, watching my son sleeping, rainstorms late at night, watching my flowers and garden grow.DISLIKES: Liars, cigarette smoke, green peas, bad drivers, ham, shin splints, passive-aggressive people, migraines, litter, for that matter....changing the kitty litter, child abuse, tepid water, limp lettuce, phonies, telemarketers, spam e-mail, sand on my floor mats.That's me...circa 1978 with my same goofy smile:
