God first, then family are the most important things in my life. Without them, I would not be the person that I am today. Also, I have a good man in my life. He is my "Crown Royal On Ice." I will do almost anything for a true friend, but I will drop you like a bad habit if I find out that you are not real. I believe in the statement, "do unto others as they will do unto you."I am a registered Democrat. I believe that every African-American is supposed to vote. I don't care who you vote for...just VOTE! Our ancestors fought too hard for us to have the rights that we have today, so we need to make it our business to vote. With that said, do not send me a message if you are not a registered voter. I don't care if you are my best friend. If you don't vote, then don't drop me a note (LOL...seriously...Don't).History lesson: In 1870, Black men received the right to vote with the Fifteenth Amendment. In 1920, the Nineteenth amendment extended voting rights to all women. With Southern states actively stopping African Americans from voting, a practice that had gone on for decades, the Federal Government finally stepped in. Nearly a century later, on August 6, 1965, President Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act (VRA) into law. Again, APPRECIATE what many people around the world do NOT have, and NEVER FORGET those who fought and died for you to obtain these liberties!
