::ABOUT MONDO MUZIQ::Ahmande Grimes – Producer/Song-writer Ahmande “Mondo†Grimes is no stranger to the music industry. An eight-year veteran, and drummer by trade, he received his start in 1999 when he signed his first writer/producer joint-venture deal with Warner Chappell Music/Nashville/ Anthony Smith productions. In 2001, Grimes went on to sign with Big Picture Entertainment/Zomba Music Publishing NY and has since written and produced for national and international recording artists in the Country, Rock, Pop, R&B and Christian music.
Over his eight year-career, Grimes has worked with such artists as Grammy-award winning and Def Jam Recording Artist/Poet J Ivy (featured on Kanye West debut album College Dropout), JIVE UK recording artist Luke Guiliani, Zomba recording artist Eugene Wilde, multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning Christian artist Nicole C. Mullen, Team NCM, Universal recording artist Florez, Pop rock artist Jennifer Friend, R&B artist Justice, as well as a multitude of others.Grimes has been credited with bringing a freshness and versatility to the studio production. He credits his work ethic and perseverance to his success thus far. In addition to being a talented writer/producer, he has been tapped to brain remixes for artist such as EMI rock band FALLIN UP and American Idol hopeful and Christian recording artist Mandisa. However, his passion is developing new-and-up-and-coming talents as seen with his latest venture, artist/writer Justin “J.C.†Crowder, who recently landed a recording deal with Sean “Diddy†Combs’ Bad Boy South Records based in Atlanta.In addition to production, his advertising background has allowed him to produce jingles and scores for national and regional ad campaigns. Currently, Grimes is tapped to produce the theme song for the Allstate Insurance Black History Month national ad-campaign slated to launch January 2008.Discography
